WWE NXT saw a decrease in viewership on May 27 against the NHL and NBA Playoffs.
According to Wrestlenomics, NXT averaged 650,000 viewers on Tuesday. The show drew a 0.14 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when an average of 697,000 viewers tuned in. The demo rose from last week’s show (0.13 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE NXT this week?
This week’s show kicked off with Ethan Page defeating Ricky Saints to become the new NXT North American Champion.
TNA Wrestling’s Mike Santana made his NXT in-ring debut defeating Tavion Heights. He will face Trick Williams next week for the TNA World Championship.
Elsewhere on the show, Jaida Parker defeated Tatum Paxley. Parker was attacked by Thea Hail after the match.
In the main event of the evening, Jacy Jayne shockingly defeated Stephanie Vaquer to capture the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time.
