If you’re a WWE fan, an actual visit to the company’s new headquarters in Stamford is a literal dream come true.
WWE Tagalong commentator Stan Sy recently took his Instagram to recap his recent visit to the Stamford headquarters, posting the following:
“I’ve been calling my role in @wwe as a Tagalog Commentator my dream job, but the ‘dream’ part has also made me feel like I’d wake up one day and it would be gone because it was just that: a dream too good to be true.
“My visit to WWE Headquarters earlier this month made everything so real. The moment I got to step inside, the feeling of being in ‘the room where it happens’ was as real as it got.
“That week was the true highlight of my professional life: realizing a dream that started when I was 14 and falling in love with professional wrestling, to calling a week’s worth of shows (including a PLE) in Stamford, Connecticut!
“The honor of being the first homegrown Filipino to broadcast from WWE HQ wasn’t lost on me at all. This is awesome.
The various features of WWE Headquarters
“1: The main lobby, where some internal events are held. It was also where Triple H was surprised by The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels about his HOF induction.
2: The main facade along Washington Boulevard
3: Yes, there’s a ring in the office!
4: A cafeteria named SnackDown = Branding A+++
5: Awesome tribute to one of the OGs, Mean Gene Okerlund
6: My office for the week at the International VO area!
7: More A+++ branding, this time for the restrooms!
8: Not sure if this area has an official name, but I call it the Hall of Champions
9 and 10: A mural of WWE’s icons, including my all-time wrestling hero, Eddie Guerrero
11: The hall lights change colors depending on the show airing that day. So, yes, I took that on a Monday.
12 and 13: The Money in the Bank meeting room is my new favorite meeting room anywhere in the world.
14: Championship belts from the past and present adorn the cafeteria/meeting areas.
15: An outdoor area where you can eat, unwind, or just look at downtown Stamford.
16: I had to do the IYO Sky pose next to my bias.
17: This one commemorates the PLE I got to call from HQ: Backlash St. Louis.
18: Met some new friends and mentors in @marceloatwwe and @jerrysotonarra, the Spanish announce team!
19: Also got to meet Sean Deng and Meng Ai, the Chinese announce team
20: And I also met @calvinknie and @thetimhaber, the German announce team, whose reels I enjoy watching,” Stan Sy said in a post.
WWE Headquarters’ cool bathroom feature
In regard to photo 7, the bathrooms, WWE has some clever promotion over the doors to separate the two rooms. For the women, it’s the standard WWE logo, but for the men, it’s the WWE logo upside down, which is often seen for segments featuring The Miz.
You can take a look at the restroom doors in the embedded post below:
