AEW Dynamite Viewership Decreases On 7/24, Demo Also Drops

AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts saw a slight decrease in viewership on July 24.

According to Wrestlenomics, 786,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night and drew a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 795,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.27 rating in the same demographic.

Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite went head-to-head with President Joe Biden’s first Oval Office speech after deciding to step aside from the 2024 election this fall.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with MJF throwing the AEW International Championship in the trash and declaring himself the AEW American Champion. MJF will face Will Ospreay in a rematch at All In.

Britt Baker defeated Hikaru Shida in her first match of 2024. Mercedes Moné came out following the match and distracted Baker leading to the debut of Kamille as Moné’s bodyguard.

The main event saw Team AEW defeat The Elite in Blood & Guts. Darby Allin forced Matthew Jackson to surrender for his team by threatening to light Jack Perry on fire.
