Ric Flair says he’ll be on Dynamite this Wednesday night.
Flair was revealed as the “surprise” for Sting at the AEW Dynamite taping in Philadelphia on October 25. It was later revealed that he signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling, and he’ll appear in Sting’s corner through The Icon’s retirement tour.
Flair is advertised to be in Los Angeles for the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. There, he’ll accompany Sting, Darby Allin and Adam Copeland to the ring. However, questions still remain about just how often he’ll be on AEW programming.
Ric Flair recently spoke with WrestleZone and said he’s not sure how often he will be on AEW TV, but he’s excited to just give his best effort in whatever the company asks of him.
“Those are the kinds of questions I can’t answer. To be honest with you, I don’t know,” Flair said. “I just know that I’m excited to be working for them. And the reception backstage was over-the-top and that’s all I want. I don’t want to be a politician, I don’t want to do anything. I just want to do what they ask me to do, and do the best job of it I can… and hope they turn me loose [laughs]
AEW in Ontario
He did mention that he will also be at the November 15 Dynamite taping in Ontario, California.
“I’ll be in Ontario the Wednesday before, getting warmed up for LA,” Flair said.
Adam Copeland, MJF, Saraya, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks are also advertised for the taping. Flair (and Sting) have not been publicly announced for the taping as of now.
Sting, Darby Allin and Adam Copeland (with Ric Flair) will face Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne at AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 18.
Our full interview with Ric Flair will be released on WrestleZone soon.
