Sting comments on Ric Flair’s AEW debut.
Sting and Ric Flair reunited on the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, as “The Nature Boy” was Tony Khan’s gift to Sting. “The Icon” previously announced that his last match will be at AEW Revolution. On Wednesday, Flair discussed his history with Sting and praised the legend. Christian Cage interrupted them and challenged Sting and Darby Allin to find a partner for a trios match at AEW Revolution.
As he kicks off the final stretch of his in-ring career, he will evidently have Ric Flair by his side. In a post on Twitter, Sting noted that Flair put him on the map. He stated that Flair is going to be with him every step of the way to the end. Sting also wrote that they will go out together in a blaze of glory.

Update On Ric Flair’s Status With AEW
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Ric Flair is supposed to be with AEW through at least March 2024. AEW Revolution is typically held in March, so that would line up with Sting’s retirement.
