Ian Riccaboni Donating Portion Of New AEW/ROH Contract To Important Cause

Ian Riccaboni is staying under the AEW-ROH banner.

Ahead of this week’s milestone 300th AEW Dynamite episode, commentator Ian Riccaboni provided an update on his contract status with the All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor franchise. Currently, Riccaboni serves as a regular play-by-play voice for ROH. On occasions, fans have also heard him on AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision broadcasts.

“Re-signed with AEW/ROH,” he wrote on Bluesky. “Very grateful and excited for what is to come! Celebrated by eating some hot dogs at the IronPigs at various points since reaching an agreement which was a while ago at this point so a lot of hot dogs for me & my family. AEW Dynamite #300 is TOMORROW! See you in California!”

With his new deal, Riccaboni noted that part of his pay will be forwarded to the Salisbury Youth Association, which aims to reduce or eliminate cost as an obstacle for children to play sports. He additionally confirmed that his position within AEW-ROH would remain the same.

“To answer someone’s question: this changes nothing,” he wrote. “ROH all the time, AEW when the moment calls. Unless the company is looking to reboot the gameshows Studs or Street Smarts, business as usual.”

Holy smokes. A little overwhelmed by the response. The generosity in this deal will be paid forward: part of this will continue to go toward Salisbury Youth Association as part of a community effort to reduce or eliminate cost as a barrier for kids to play sports like we did for baseball.
