Britt Baker hopes to see Sammy Guevara again soon, where that happens remains to be seen.
Sammy Guevara shared in his vlog where he and Britt Baker met during a meet-and-greet signing event at Animeverse. In the video, Guevara says: “What’s up, Britt?”
Britt Baker: “Hi”
Sammy Guevara: “Long time no talk.”
Britt Baker: “Long time no talk.”
Guevara: “Yeah, I think the last time I saw you was like at the last con that we were at together.”
Baker: “It was like six years ago.”
Guevara: “Yeah, feels like it.”
While they have a brief chat about Guevara’s baby girl, Luna, who is also seen in the vlog, they concluded their chat by saying:
Guevara: “Okay, Britt, well it was good to see you, good to talk to you.”
Baker: “Good to see you, hopefully see you soon again.”
Guevara: “Yeah, hopefully. Yeah, maybe in six years, maybe.”
Baker: “Maybe in another six years. Maybe you’ll have another baby by then.”
Britt Baker was last seen back in November 2024 on an episode of AEW Dynamite, where she defeated Penelope Ford. Since then, she hasn’t appeared on AEW programming. Amid her absences, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman recently said that a source told him Baker is planning to leave AEW and is close to joining WWE.
However, Fightful Select reported that Baker isn’t expected to leave anytime soon, as she signed a five-year deal in late 2021 that keeps her under contract until 2026.
