This special two-and-a-half-hour broadcast of AEW Dynamite will air live on TBS, Fox Sports Mexico and stream live on Max.
You can watch it below:
It’s AEW’s debut in Mexico with a stacked card featuring the likes of MJF, CMLL mainstay Mistico, Mercedes Mone, FTR, The Don Callis Family and more. Speaking of Mercedes Mone, the CEO will be looking to add another title to her resume as she takes on Zeuxis for the CMLL World Women’s Championship.
Elsewhere on the card, Death Riders and The Young Bucks will join forces against The Opps, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland. The match comes on the heels of Matt and Nicholas Jackson’s (inadvertent) brutal assault on Ospreay that involved thumbtack shoes at AEW Summer Blockbuster.
Former AEW World Champion MJF will step in the ring with one of lucha libre’s biggest stars in Mistico. MJF promised to bring back his “American Champion” persona after he and the rest of the Hurt Syndicate jumped Mistico last week on Summer Blockbuster.
Also set for tonight is a “4 Million Pesos High Flying 4-way” match featuring Mascara Dorada, Ricochet, Hologram and Lio Rush. This is Ricochet’s first match since defeating Mark Briscoe in a stretcher match at AEW Double or Nothing.
After leaving Kenny Omega a bloody mess, AEW Continental Champion and the newest Don Callis Family member, Kazuchika Okada, will step in the ring with The Cleaner’s close friend, Mark Briscoe, tonight at AEW Grand Slam Mexico.
Last but not least, 12 competitors from All Elite Wrestling and CMLL will collide in a 12-man tag team match. It will be Bandido, Templario, Atlantis Jr., Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia, and Brody King against Hechicero, FTR, Josh Alexander, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita.
