Big Matches Set For AEW Grand Slam Mexico

AEW Grand Slam Mexico officially has its first match, and it’s a big one.

As confirmed during tonight’s episode of AEW Summer Blockbuster, Grand Slam Mexico will see MJF and Místico face off against one another in singles action. The match came together as The Hurt Syndicate’s newest member said he would be watching Místico tonight.

After Místico beat Blake Christian, MJF said he’d face him next week. The superstar did warn Místico, though, that his plan was to win and rip off the “dime store mask” that Místico wears.

Later in the night, a ten-man tag team match was also confirmed, in which the Death Riders will go up against The Opps.

AEW Grand Slam Mexico will take place on June 18, 2025. The event occurs in Mexico City, Mexico, and take place at the Arena México. The fully updated card for the show is as follows:

  • MJF vs. Místico
  • CMLL World Women’s Championship: Zeuxis (c) vs. Mercedes Moné
  • Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) vs. The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata), Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland
