This past Saturday Night was the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. The main event of the show was a tag team match. The team of the then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes took on Logan Paul and the current WWE Undisputed Champion John Cena. During the match, the Maverick suffered a notable injury.
During the latest episode of the Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul opened up about the injuries he suffered. It was during this dangerous spot when he hit a moonsault on Jey Uso onto the announcer’s desk. He initially believed that he had shattered both his shins because of the hard impact of hitting the table, however, he confirmed it was a hematoma on his leg.
“Dude, I’m good besides this hematoma on my shin. Yeah, it’s getting worked up… It’s before the match and I’m telling John Cena, ‘Hey, I’d like to fit this spot.’ He looks at me and he goes, ‘You can’t make that jump,’ and I go, ‘I swear to God I can,’ and dude, John’s the best. But in full sincerity, he goes, ‘You can’t make that jump,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay, buddy!’
“I found out no one — successfully? [No one has done the move]. But believed I could make that jump. It was well-executed and I’m f*cking alive. But it was a really hard landing. Really hard. When I landed, straight up, I was not sure if I broke both my f*cking shins.” [H/T Fightful.com]
Paul also mentioned that he was shocked to see the return of R-Truth. Paul also shared his reaction to R-Truth’s surprise return, saying he had no idea it was coming. Read his full thoughts on how the match ended here.
