Logan Paul Says WWE Kept R-Truth’s Return A Secret From Him

Logan Paul says WWE didn’t inform him about R-Truth’s return.

R-Truth made a shocking return at WWE Money in the Bank 2025, just a week after reports claimed his contract wouldn’t be renewed. He stunned the crowd by attacking John Cena, costing Cena and Paul their tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

Logan Paul, who took the loss alongside Cena, revealed on his IMPAULSIVE podcast that he had no idea R-Truth, now going by his real name, Ron Killings would interfere in their match. He found out about Truth’s return in real time during the match and expressed surprise.

Logan Paul shares his live reaction to R-Truth’s return

“Here’s another thing. Look, I’m — dude, I go through this table, I’m cooked, cusp of death. I’m sitting there, just, you know, selling but not selling, ’cause the sh*t’s real and it all hurts so bad. But I hit the move, so I’m excited. But, you know, I’m sitting there like basically knocked out, and Cody and John are in the ring. I’m rooting for my guy John. ‘Get us that win, John.’

“Dude, out of nowhere comes f*cking R-Truth, who I thought was fired. I thought WWE let him go. Also, here’s the thing no one told me R-Truth was coming. I didn’t even know, I didn’t even know it. So bro, I’m sitting there and he comes back. I’m like, “What the f*ck is he doing here?”

Logan Paul admitted that, in the moment, he briefly became a fan again while reacting to R-Truth’s unexpected return. “Dude, I’m selling, I’m like, “Hey! … No!” And then he hit John, and we lost the f*cking match.”
