Our TNA Under Siege results for tonight include Joe Hendry teaming with Elijah to take on Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian, Masha Slamovich defending against Victoria Crawford, and The Nemeth Brothers defending against Matt Hardy and Leon Slater.

TNA Under Siege Card

The announced card is as follows:

  • Joe Hendry and Elijah vs. Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian
  • Knockouts Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Victoria Crawford
  • TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeth Brothers (c) vs. Matt Hardy and Leon Slater
  • Tessa Blanchard vs. Arianna Grace
  • AJ Francis vs. Mike Santana
  • Order 4 vs. The Rascalz, Indi Hartwell, and TBA
  • Match by Elegance for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Ash and Heather by Elegance (c) vs. Spitfire
  • Eddie Edwards vs. Cody Deaner
  • Countdown Show: Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside

Countdown to TNA Under Siege results:

The show kicks off with WWE NXT’s Robert Stone rambling about why he’s there as an authority figure alongside Santino Marella. I really don’t think TNA needs two authority figures when they only have one weekly show, but here we are.

Santino Marella comes out and says he’s not doing this job for the suits, he’s doing it for the people. Stone brings up the fact that Arianna Grace is his daughter, and Tessa Blanchard will put her in the hospital tonight. Marella says if Stone or Blanchard tries to hurt Arianna tonight, he won’t be Saninto Marella, the director of authority, he’ll be Santino Marella, the father.

Rosemary vs. Xia Brookside

  • The finish of the match saw Xia Brookside attack Rosemary with a belt, getting herself disqualified.

Winner: Rosemary via disqualification.

After the match, security tries to restrain Brookside, but she beats them with the belt too.

Grade: C+

Why is this feud still going on? It feels like it’s been going on for months. It’s not good. Just move on already!

TNA Under Siege Results:

Before the opening contest, AJ Francis says he can’t compete due to turf toe, and Santana will face KC Navarro instead.

Mike Santana vs. KC Navarro (w/ AJ Francis)

  • The finish of the match saw Mike Santana hit KC Navarro with Spin the Block to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Mike Santana

After the match, Santana shows Navarro respect and shakes his hand. Francis attacks Santana from behind, revealing that he wasn’t hurt (shocker). Navarro is surprised, and Francis encourages him to get a few stomps in on Santana before they leave.

Grade: B+

Not a great look for the first match out of the gate to be false advertising. But at least the match ended up being very good. Santana and Navarro work very well together, and they probably have better chemistry than Santana would have had with Francis.

Cody Deaner vs. Eddie Edwards (w/ Alisha Edwards)

  • The finish of the match saw Eddie Edwards hit Cody Deaner with the Boston Knee Party to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Eddie Edwards

After the match, The System come out and make fun of Cody Deaner for losing his job. Eric Young and The Northern Armory come out to defend Deaner and Canada. This looks like it’s going to lead to an impromptu tag match.

Grade: B-

The match was whatever. They gave Deaner some fun hope spots, but it always seemed like he wasn’t put in a winnable situation. Not even giving Deaner a moment with the crowd after the match was kinda low. At least let the guy go out with his head held high a little bit!

The Northern Armory (w/ Hammer the Honey Badger mascot) vs. The System (w/ Alisha Edwards)

  • The finish of the match saw Eric Young hit Moose with a piledriver to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: The Northern Armory

Grade: B

A fine match for being something that wasn’t even advertised. Young getting the pinfall on Moose teases that a future shot at the X-Division Championship is in his future.

Match by Elegance for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Ash and Heather by Elegance (c) vs. Spitfire

  • The finish of this match saw Ash by Elegance hit Jody Threat with Rarified Air to score the pinfall victory for her team.

Winners: And still Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Ash and Heather by Elegance

Because of this loss, Spitfire must disband.

Grade: B-

I have not been a fan of this rivalry… at all! Another thing that this company has dragged out to ridiculous degrees. But that being said, for the most part, this match was pretty fun. It was far from perfect, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

Xia Brookside has snapped

They recap the match on the Countdown between Xia Brookside and Rosemary. We hear from Xia Brookside backstage, who says this is what Rosemary wanted, and what happens next is on her.

Raj Singh is revealed as the tag team partner of The Rascalz and Indi Hartwell tonight.

Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, and The Great Hands) vs. The Rascalz, Indi Hartwell, and Raj Singh

  • The finish of the match saw Mustafa Ali hit Raj Singh with a 450 Splash to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Order 4

After the match, Ali continues to attack Singh. Steelz tries to calm him down, and he pushes her down. Ali shows no remorse and walks away, and The Great Hand Steelz still follow him out.

Grade: B-

The return of Raj Singh (who is a hometown guy I might add) went over like a fart in church. The crowd what’d him to death and didn’t give him much of a reaction for the hometown reveal either. It kinda set this match up to fail. It was okay. The match had its moments, but it should have been so much better than it ended up being.

A father-daughter pep talk

Santino Marella is backstage with Arianna Grace. Marella hypes Grace up for her match with Tessa Blanchard tonight. Grace says Blanchard has underestimated her but she’s gonna kick her ass tonight.

Steve Maclin is backstage. Maclin says he’s not medically cleared to compete tonight, but he will defend the TNA International Championship next week against Matt Cardona on iMPACT. I don’t particularly love this story since TNA tapes television tomorrow, so clearly he’s cleared. This match could have easily been on tonight’s show.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Arianna Grace

  • The finish of the match saw Tessa Blanchard hit Arianna Grace with a Magnum to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Tessa Blanchard

After the match, Marella comes out and checks on his daughter. Robert Stone comes out with security and has them escorted away from ringside.

Grade: B

Solid match. Grace continues to improve every time she steps into the ring. I think she has star potential if they put her in the right type of storyline.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Victoria Crawford

  • The finish of the match saw Masha Slamovich hit Victoria Crawford with Requiem to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Still Knockouts Champion, Masha Slamovich

After the match, Slamovich gets on the microphone and says she believes that Lei Ying Lee deserves the next shot at her title. Lee comes out, and the two face off. Stone interrupts and says only he can make the matches. Stone says if Lee wants a title shot, she needs to earn it on iMPACT next week.

Grade: C+

This was rough. Slamovich had to work in slow motion to put together some semblance of a match with Crawford. She hasn’t competed a lot in recent years, and it was very evident tonight. Please, no more of that.

A video package airs as a tribute to Sabu, who recently passed away.

TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeth Brothers (c) vs. Matt Hardy and Leon Slater

  • The finish of the match saw Nic Nemeth hit Matt Hardy with Danger Zone to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: And still TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Nemeth Brothers

Grade: B+

Probably the best thing on tonight’s show, despite seeing the outcome coming from a mile away. Hardy and Slater worked incredibly well together, and if Jeff was ever out for an extended period of time, I feel like he could fill in seamlessly.

Will “The higher-ups” sign this mixed tag match?

Santino Marella is backstage with Arianna Grace. Grace is upset that Blanchard fought dirty. Marella is upset that Stone put his hands on him. Marella says what Stone did was assault, and he’s going to go to the higher-ups in TNA and get a match made between him and Stone.

Grace suggests a mixed tag match with her and Blanchard because she wants another shot at her. Marella is very excited about this and says he’s gonna make it happen, and Stone is going to get a Cobra.

Joe Hendry and Elijah vs. Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian

  • The finish of this match saw Joe Hendry hit Frankie Kazarian with a Standing Ovation to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Joe Hendry and Elijah

Grade: B-

Hendry and Williams have a stare down as TNA Under Siege goes off the air.

TNA Under Siege Review:

As you could probably tell, I didn’t enjoy this show. There were a few shining moments, but not enough to overcome the terrible creative direction this company has been on in recent months. I can’t even begin to explain how much better this company was when Scott D’Amore was in charge of things. I’d love to see them somehow turn the corner, but I’m starting to lose hope.

Grade: C+
