Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena will reportedly be in action on Saturday Night’s Main Event later this month.
Last week, it was announced that Jey Uso would defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul on the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event special. But will Cena be defending his championship as well?
According to Cory Hays of PW Nexus, John Cena is scheduled to face R-Truth in about two weeks, tweeting out:
“R Truth is scheduled to face his “childhood hero” John Cena very soon. Say in 2 weeks,” Cory Hays said in a post.
The tweet’s timing places this match directly on May 24 for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. This match was set up at Backlash as Truth inadvertently helped Cena retain his title against Randy Orton.
Truth attempted to speak to Cena following the show at the media scrum and was given an Attitude Adjustment through a table.
Whether or not John Cena will be defending the championship in this match against Truth is unknown at this time.
