AEW World Trios Title Match Set For AEW Dynasty

The Death Riders will defend the gold at AEW Dynasty.

Rated FTR (Cope, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler) has been feuding with the Death Riders in recent months. Cope has targeted Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship, and he unsuccessfully challenged for the title twice. On the March 19th episode of AEW Dynamite, Cope lost to Moxley. Harwood walked out on Cope after the match, leading some to question the future of the trio.

On the March 26th episode of AEW Dynamite, Rated FTR hashed things out, and Harwood apologized. He also expressed his interest in chasing the tag team titles again. However, Wheeler said that he wanted to chase the trios titles, and Cope challenged the Death Riders to a title match at AEW Dynasty.

The broadcast team stated that the match was confirmed later in the show.

Later in the show, AEW World Tag Team Champions Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC responded. PAC said that it didn’t work like that, but he said that they challenged Rated FTR to face them at AEW Dynasty.

  • AEW World Trios Championship: The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & PAC) vs. Rated FTR (Cope, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)
