Katsuyori Shibata‘s feud with The Learning Tree continued on AEW Dynamite.
On the July 24th episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho defeated Minoru Suzuki to retain the FTW Championship. Suzuki dropped Jericho with a piledriver after the bell. Big Bill and Bryan Keith of The Learning Tree attacked Suzuki, but they stopped when Katsuyori Shibata’s music played.
Shibata then got the drop on the duo as he snuck in from behind. The former ROH Pure Champion took the fight to Bill and Keith. The Learning Tree escaped, and Shibata stood tall with Suzuki.
The Learning Tree previously took Shibata out with a vicious attack. The group has also taken out HOOK and Samoa Joe in recent weeks.
