AEW Dynamite Viewership Slightly Rises On 7/3, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on July 3.

According to the Pro Wrestling Torch, 688,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and the show drew a 0.23 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 680,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.22 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Bryan Danielson defeating PAC to advance to the finals of the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament on Dynamite next week.

Britt Baker made her return to Dynamite and was interrupted by Mercedes Moné. Baker laid out a challenge for a match between them at AEW All In.

Willow Nightingale was also in action, defeating Kris Statlander to advance in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She will face the winner of the match between Mariah May and Hikaru Shida next Wednesday night.

The main event saw Will Ospreay defeat Daniel Garcia to retain the AEW International Championship. MJF turned on Garcia after the match and brutally attacked him to end the show.
