Swerve Strickland will appear on the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite after he was absent from the July 3 episode.
Strickland defended the AEW World Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30, as he beat Will Ospreay to retain the gold. He was absent from the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, where his bitter rival “Hangman” Adam Page made his return. It’s fair to say that Strickland will have plenty to say when he makes his return to Dynamite.
The July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite will also feature the finals of Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments. Page advanced to the semi-finals by beating Jeff Jarrett on Wednesday. He will face Jay White in the semi-finals on the July 6 episode of AEW Collision.
In the women’s tournament, Willow Nightingale beat Kris Statlander to advance to the finals. Her opponent will be decided on the July 5 episode of AEW Rampage, where Mariah May will face Hikaru Shida.
