Rossy Ogawa Says Triple H Gave Him ‘Push’ To Launch Marigold

Rossy Ogawa says that Triple H encouraged him to start the promotion that became Marigold.

STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa informed the company of his intention to leave in November 2023. He planned to leave in March 2024. However, Bushiroad terminated his contract in February. Ogawa was accused of “has been poaching a number of Stardom athletes and staff members.” He has denied these accusations. Ogawa went on to form Marigold, a new Joshi promotion.

Speaking with Sports Graphic Number, Rossy Ogawa discussed founding Marigold and noted that there were some people who wanted him to do it.

“There were some people who wanted me to do it,” and he had been vaguely envisioning the establishment of a new organization since around the spring of last year,” Ogawa said.

Ogada then commented on meeting with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H online in December 2023, and he noted that the latter encouraged him to star Marigold.

“Triple H said, ‘I want to help Ogawa do what he wants to do, whether it’s with STARDOM or individually,’ and he pushed me,” he said.

Rossy Ogawa also stated that he wanted to be honored in the Legacy wing of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Sareee has vowed to be the ace of Marigold. Check out her comments here.
