Andrade and Naomi have reportedly re-signed with WWE following their returns at WWE Royal Rumble.
Both Andrade and Naomi returned at WWE Royal Rumble. They competed in their respective Rumble matches. Andrade previously requested his release in 2021, while Naomi walked out of WWE in May 2022.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that both Andrade and Naomi have re-signed with WWE, as their returns were not one-offs.
Andrade wrapped up with AEW at AEW Worlds End on December 30. At the time, it was widely expected that he would be returning to WWE, and many expected him to make the move even sooner. Per Sapp, Charlotte Flair was said to have pushed for his return. Sapp writes that Andrade is scheduled for the January 29 episode of WWE RAW.
Update On Naomi
Sapp also writes that Naomi is expected to appear on the SmackDown brand following her return. The report notes that she was open with other talent about her looming return to WWE, and TNA sources said it was clear that she would be wrapping up with the company earlier in the year.
Per Sapp, WWE had maintained interest in bringing Naomi back for over a year, but an unofficial hiring freeze delayed the outcome, as she was working for TNA by the time the freeze ended.
