Naomi thanks everyone for welcoming her back.
Naomi walked out of WWE in May 2022, and she later had a successful run in IMPACT/TNA Wrestling. She made her return at WWE Royal Rumble, as she competed in the women’s battle royal.
In a tweet, Naomi commented on her return and thanked everyone for their warm embrace.
Naomi also shared her thoughts following her return in a Royal Rumble Exclusive. First, she was asked whether she heard how loud the crowd was for her.
“I did, I did,” Naomi said. “It was hard to hold back all the emotions, like I couldn’t…it felt really good after this little journey I’ve been on, to finally be back. That’s the scary part. You never know what that reaction of response is, so to feel that…It’s so much more rewarding. I feel, man, I’m so grateful to be back.”
Naomi was then asked if proving that she still had it was motivating her during the match.
“Absolutely, and just after this ride I’ve been on, I feel like nothing can break me,” she said. “I didn’t win, but I hung in there. That Jade is something else, though.”
When asked what’s next for her, Naomi said she didn’t know, but she would see.
