A new report shines some light on Chelsea Green‘s contract status.
Green’s WWE return has been rumored for several, as Chief Content Officer Triple H has brought back a number of stars who were released by the previous regime. Fightful Select reported in November that the company had discussed Green’s return. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer subsequently stated that Green was likely going to return to WWE. He said that it was being talked about as if it was a done deal.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Green has been signed to WWE for “quite some time”, but she is still waiting for creative. Sapp noted that Green has not personally confirmed her return. It’s important to note that she recently shut down her OnlyFans page, and the Major Pod Network had to limit the production” of new merchandise for Green, apparently due to her signing.
Green seemingly wrapped up with IMPACT Wrestling after she lost to Mickie James on the November 10 episode. She returned to IMPACT in 2021 after WWE released her in April of the same year. During her time with IMPACT, she held the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Deonna Purrazzo.
