Jon Moxley has fun in a wrestling ring, whether it’s for All Elite Wrestling or on the independent circuit.
All Elite Wrestling star Jon Moxley was a guest on ESPN WING 1410’s The Justin Kinner Show where he was asked what is it about wrestling that makes him want to work more and not have a night off. Moxley joked that he should be working smarter at this point in his career, but he just loves it so much that he wants to be in the ring as much as he can.
“If I was smart, I would try to get the most amount of money for the least amount of work possible. Believe it or not, professional wrestling, I used to do it on purpose and for free, and still do. I enjoy it. It’s recreation for me, as much as it is anything else. What else are you going to do with your time? It’s the coolest job in the world,” Moxley said.
“Some people like to go golfing and I like to step in a cage and attack people with weapons and stab people with sharp things. There’s really no other level of adrenaline you can reach at a certain point if you’ve been doing this as long as I have,” Moxley said. “I need it for my soul to get out there and get loose, get a good sweat on and blood coming from my eyebrow and everything. It’s relaxing to me, I enjoy pro wrestling.”
