Tess Blanchard will defend her Phoenix of RISE Championship in a 60-minute Iron Woman Match against Mercedes Martinez. The championship represents the apex of the RISE promotion and Tessa has held the title since July of this year. At RISE 9 champion Delilah Doom and her scheduled opponent and former champion Shotzi Blackheart were both sidelined with injuries. Tessa took on Mercedes in a near 45-minute classic two-out-of-three falls match to determine a new champion. A rematch ended in a 30-minute draw. This rarely used stipulation, even more so in women’s wrestling, is sure to bring out the best in both competitors. The match will take place at RISE 10 from the Berwyn Eagles Club right outside of Chicago. While the event will not stream live it will be available immediately after on the RISE streaming service RISE-ASCENT
