Stellar opening contest from two future stars.
Need To Watch Rating: (8.0)
SECOND MATCH: Michael Elgin, Ayato Yoshida, Ren Narita & Shota Umino vs. Bullet Club OGs (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Bad Luck Fale & Taiji Ishimori)
Decent tag match. BC OGs remain a dominant force. Ayato Yoshida is one to watch.
Need To Watch Rating: (1.5)
THIRD MATCH: CHAOS (Hirooki Goto & Gedo) vs. Suzuki-gun (Taichi & El Desperado)
Fun tag match. The rivalry between Taichi and Goto has been a sleeper hit of 2018. Extra point for Gedo’s barrage of swears.
Need To Watch Rating: (4.5)
FOURTH MATCH: Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, EVIL & SANADA) vs. Suzuki-gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, TAKA Michinoku, Takashi Iizuka & Minoru Suzuki)
Suzuki-gun vs. LIJ is always good. Suzuki-gun vs. LIJ is never bad.
Need To Watch Rating: (8.1)
FIFTH MATCH: Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toa Henare vs. CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI)
Okada and Tanahashi are always amazing. Toa Henare and YOSHI-HASHI are perfect foils for each other.
Need To Watch Rating: (7.3)
SIXTH MATCH: CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii, Will Ospreay, Beretta & Toru Yano) vs. Bullet Club Elite (Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi)
While Ospreay’s been hogging the spotlight, what with his begging to fight Ibushi, Beretta has been the hero of these matches. Toru Yano remains a delight. Ishii is a legitimate contender to lead CHAOS, now that Okada is off on his own thing.
Need To Watch Rating: (7.9)
MAIN EVENT: SATOSHI KOJIMA COMEBACK MATCH: Yuji Nagata, Manabu Nakanishi & Ten-cozy (Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima) vs. Juice Robinson, David Finlay & Great Bash Heel (Tomoaki Honma & Togi Makabe)
Throwback to mid-2000s NJPW. While not the blistering main event that the past two shows have produced, this is a solid and entertaining affair. Kojima is back. Baby.
Need To Watch Rating: (8.5)
