Undertaker, Sting, Ric Flair & Ted DiBiase To Take Part In Mega Church’s Wrestling Based Sermon Series

The Christian Post reports that several well-known Christian WWE Hall of Famers will take part in Fellowship Church of Grapevine, Texas’ upcoming ‘Wrastlin’ series.

Megachurch senior pastor Ed Young will interview The Undertaker, Sting, Ric Flair, and “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase as part of his four week wrestling-based sermon series.

According to Young,

“One of the most used metaphors in scripture regarding the Christian life is that of a wrestler. It’s a staple of our culture so I thought, wouldn’t it be cool to interview some of the most popular wrestlers in the world, to have them at Fellowship, and then to speak out of the scripture regarding wrestling?”

Young talked about what it took to get the wrestlers to Fellowship Church,

“We called and called and called. We’re friends with one of the wrestlers who knows all these guys and he was able to put us in contact with these wrestlers.”

Each of the four wrestlers will be interviewed by Young. Three of the four will be interviewed live at church services, with one being pre-recorded. Pastor Young declined to inform The Christian Post as to which wrestler would not be attending service in person.
