Fightful is reporting on the surprise returns of Trish Stratus and Booker T this past week in Toronto. WWE ultimately wanted to leave a positive vibe in Toronto and get fans excited for the SummerSlam PPV next year.
The return of Trish Stratus was reportedly kept a big secret backstage and very few knew about it. It was known backstage that Elias would be getting interrupted but the details of who it would be was kept a secret.
Booker T’s return was more open and public as he was seen backstage before the show and many people knew he would be involved in the opening segment in some capacity.
