Major Hiromu Takahashi Injury Update

Dave Meltzer took to Wrestling Observer Radio and provided an injury update for NJPW star Hiromu Takahashi,

“He’s still in the hospital. That’s all I know and I don’t consider that – I mean he’s in good spirits – but it’s 18 days and he’s still in the hospital. That’s not a good sign to me at all.”

Takahashi suffered a serious neck injury at the July 7th G-1 Climax Special in San Francisco, CA.

NXT & 205 Live Salary Comparison

Dave Meltzer was asked to compare salaries between NXT Superstars and 205 Live Superstars.

He offered the following on Wrestling Observer Radio,

“The 205 Live guys make a lot more than most people in NXT. As far as I know – there may be an exception, of like somebody that got a good deal to come to NXT because they wouldn’t come without a good deal – but as a general rule the 205 Live guys, at least the ones I knew what they were making, were making considerably more than the ones in NXT and these include the top guys in NXT. There may be exceptions; but, generally speaking it’s a lot more.”
