Alex Shelley Retires
Former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Alex Shelley announced his retirement this past week. Shelley held the titles as the partner of Chris Sabin in the Motor City Machine Guns, and KUSHIDA in TimeSplitters. Shelley won the Super Jr. Tag Tournament in 2012 with KUSHIDA and also made it to the finals of the 2013 Best Of Super Juniors tournament, where he was defeated by Prince Devitt. Shelley was easily one of NJPW’s top gaijins before NJPWWorld’s aggressive westward expansion. A trailblazing tag wrestler, and an underrated promo, Shelley’s in ring presence will be missed, though surely he’ll have plenty of presence out of the ring.
In the end, MCMG's final match was against @NickJacksonYB, @MattJackson13, @njpwShowT, and @njpwyohei_k. I really don't think I could've asked for a better ending. Four guys I love very much who I hope I helped some over the years. Thank you, gentlemen.

Kojima Update
Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and leader of Bread Club, Satoshi Kojima, took to Twitter to complain about Japan’s current heatwave. Kojima is recovering from an ACL tear.
Hello. Although the heat wave continues, I do an errand while taking measures of heat stroke. Did you feel the heat in my youth? So, please have a good hydration. I wonder if the Poca system is good.
こんにちは。
猛暑が続いてますが、熱中症対策をしながら用事してます。
私の若い頃には感じなかった暑さ?なので、皆さんも水分補給をしっかりしてくださいね。
ポカリ系がいいのかな。
