Despite the rumors of there being three ladder matches at this year’s Money in the Bank PPV, RAW GM Kurt Angle only announced the men’s and women’s ladder matches on RAW Monday night. Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Angle was originally supposed to announce three matches, with the third being for the tag team division but, with six weeks to go until the PPV, it wasn’t a necessity to announce all three matches at the same time.
Too much of a good thing, WWE. This will make three briefcases and, presumably, three storylines to keep track of, simultaneously. I barely have faith in WWE’s ability to walk and chew gum at the same time. Hopefully WWE surprises people and makes good use of the gimmick this year.
