On Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne challenging The Authors of Pain in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final:
The illustrious Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will reach its conclusion tonight when The Authors of Pain take on Roderick Strong& WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne in the final round. Akam & Rezar look to repeat as winners of the Classic by defeating the makeshift team of Strong & Dunne. However, The Messiah of the Backbreaker & The BruiserWeight should by no means be underestimated, having proved their mettle throughout the early stages of the tournament, despite having very little experience as tag team partners.
Whichever tandem prevails is also guaranteed an NXT Tag Team Title opportunity this Saturday at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. However, a cloud of uncertainty hangs around that contest due to an injury suffered by Bobby Fish of the NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed ERA. Will we get an update on how Fish’s injury will impact the NXT Tag Team Title Match heading into Saturday night?
Tune in tonight to see history in the making as NXT streams on WWE Network at 8/7 C.
On Killian Dain facing Lars Sullivan:
Two of NXT’s biggest bruisers will collide tonight as Killian Dain squares off against Lars Sullivan. Both Dain and Sullivan will be involved in the Ladder Match to crown the first-ever NXT North American Champion at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. With each Superstar surely looking to make a major statement en route to the Ladder Match — which also includes Adam Cole, The Velveteen Dream, EC3 and Ricochet — who will triumph before attempting to ascend to new heights in The Big Easy Saturday night? Find out tonight on WWE Network.
