Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jim Ross are at the Manhattan Center at the old school Raw set up while Booker T, Corey Graves, and Michael Cole are at the Barclays Center.
(Barclays Center) In Ring Segment: Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon
Shane thanks every wrestler who ever stepped foot in a WWE ring and all of the staff in the back for helping make Raw what it is today. Shane also thanks the WWE Universe. Without them, none of this would be possible. After a video package, Stephanie thanks the crowd as well. Stephanie says there is one special person they have to thank for this. One person who made all of this possible. Stephanie introduces the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon. Vince power walks to the ring and joins Stephanie and Shane. They all embrace. Vince says he normally doesn’t stop to smell the roses but tonight he is going to. Vince tells everyone to have a good night and tries to leave. Stephanie stops him and they present him with a commemorative plaque to celebrate 25 years of Monday Night Raw. Vince doesn’t look impressed. Vince touches it and says it feels a little cheap but they are in Brooklyn so he isn’t surprised. Stephanie jokes that they started a GoFundMe to pay for it and the GoFundMe didn’t get a lot of donations. Vince goes on a rant about how this is the best his kids and the WWE Universe could do. A plaque after all he has done for them?
Vince says he has one person to thank for all of this- Vince McMahon. Vince didn’t need his family or anyone else. There isn’t one person in the world who has helped him. And then the glass breaks. Stone Cold Steve Austin walk out and enters the ring. The crowd is going absolutely insane for Austin. Vince says it’s been a while since he and Austin have been in the ring together. Things have changed. Vince says Austin looks great but time hasn’t been kind to him. Vince list all of his ailments. Times have changed. He is a senior citizen… but Shane is in his prime! Shane looks like has seen a ghost. Austin and Shane shake hands. Austin poses with Shane. Austin stuns Shane. Vince says he doesn’t blame Austin because Shane had it coming. The crowd chants one more time. Vince says he doesn’t think Shane can take another time. Vince gives Austin a beer. Austin and Vince each take a drink. Vince hugs Austin. Austin gives Vince the finger and stuns him. Shane gets to his feet. Austin give him a beer… then stuns him again!
