“Switchblade” Jay White Confirmed For Austrailia Tour

New Japan Pro Wrestling has confirmed that “Switchblade” Jay White will be a part of their Fallout Down Under Tour, taking place from 2/16-2/19. The tour dates are as follows:

• Friday 16^th February – ADELAIDE, Titanium Arena
• Saturday 17^th February – MELBOURNE, Festival Hall
• Sunday 18^th February – SYDNEY, Quay Centre
• Monday 19^th February – PERTH, HBF Stadium

This was a big week for the New Zealander. After turning down Kenny Omega‘s offer to join Bullet Club at New Year’s Dash, White was signed by CHAOS. IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada welcomed “Switchblade” to the faction hesitantly. White will also be challenging for Kenny Omega’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship at New Beginning in Sapporo on 1/28.

Match Cards Confirmed For Fantasticamania & New Beginning Events

The cards for this year’s Fantasticamania & New Beginning events have been set.

The Fantasticamania tour runs from 1/12-1/22. The only shows that will be broadcast live will be the 1/18, 1/19, 1/21 & 1/22 shows. The tour will feature a CMLL Brothers Tag Team Tournamen, where all teams will be comprised of siblings. The finals will be the main event of the 1/22 show. Also featured on the 1/22 show will be popular Young Lion Hirai Kawato‘s last match before going on excursion to Mexico. Kawato will team up with CMLL legend Atlantis to take on Gedo & Barbaro Cavernario.

The New Beginning events will run three shows. 1/27 & 1/28 in Sapporo and 2/10 in Osaka. WrestleZone will be providing live coverage for all of the New Beginning events.

• 1/27 NEW BEGINNING IN SAPPORO- Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki.
• 1/28 NEW BEGINNING IN SAPPORO- IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: The Young Bucks (c) vs. Roppongi 3K, IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. “Switchblade” Jay White.
• 2/10 NEW BEGINNING IN OSAKA- IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Hiromu Takahashi, NEVER Openweight Championship Match: Hirooki Goto (c) vs. EVIL
