As reported by PWInsider, there have been some new developments in the Vince McMahon football saga that has been ongoing for a few weeks now.
Apparently, the UFL trademark which was filed by VKM Ventures has been presented with an initial refusal as a result of a possible conflict with a similar brand. Because of this, work on McMahon’s application will likely be suspended so that VKM Ventures can pull together valid reasons as to why there will be no conflicts moving forward.

In terms of the United Football League trademark, that appears to be GOING forward, meanwhile there will be no more movement on Alpha Entertainment’s XFL trademark until around March 16th. This is because there is a three-month waiting period for applications such as these.
