WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne was injured during an independent show last night, as reported by PWInsider. Dunne, who won the belt from Tyler Bate back at Takeover: Chicago, was competing against Darius Carter when he suffered a laceration above his left eyebrow during a belt shot spot.
There has been no confirmation as of yet regarding his scheduled UK Championship match against Jack Gallagher tonight, however a source is saying that WWE are considering pulling him from the event in addition to taking him out of another Progress show tomorrow night.
