On the recent report that UFC is having a down year financially and whether or not they regret letting Conor McGregor go box Floyd Mayweather in the midst of it:
EB: I don’t think it’s a decision you second guess, I think it’s the other way around. I would have made the same decision if I was in that seat. Conor McGregor is going to be a bigger star as a result of fighting Floyd than he was a year ago or six months ago. That’s assuming that the fight isn’t a complete embarrassment for Conor. I don’t think it will be. Assuming it’s not Conor McGregor is getting more press now and is a bigger brand name now than he ever would have been in two years in UFC. It’s a smart move on their part.
