Impact Wrestling Super X Cup Tournament Names Revealed

During tonight’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Orlando, Impact Wrestling announced the following names will compete in this year’s Super X Cup X-Division tournament:

In round 1:

1. From Cuba, Sammy Guevara vs Drago

2. ACH vs Andrew Everett

3. Taiji Ishimori vs Davey Richards

4. Desmond Xavier vs Idris Abraham

Former Impact Wrestling Star Returns at Tonight’s Tapings

Also during tonight’s TV tapings, Grado made his return to Impact Wrestling, and competed in an 8 man tag match featuring Eli Drake, Chris Adonis, Mario Bakarah & Fallah Bahh vs The Veterans of War: Wilcox & Mayweather, Eddie Edwards and the returning Grado. The match should air on this week’s Impact Wrestling.

LAX Gets New Member

In the main event of tonight’s Impact taping, Bobby Lashley faced Alberto El Patron in a Slammiversary Title rematch. Following the match, which Lashley won via DQ, Konnan announced El Patron as the newest member of LAX, however, El Patron was recovering from the match and did not offer a response to Konnan’s announcement.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
