WWE RAW
Curtis Axel was a guest on today’s 93X Half-Assed Morning Show Podcast, and commented on last night’s Miz TV segment on RAW featuring the Ball family (LaMelo, Lonzo and Lavar Ball).
Axel posted some initial comments on Twitter, but offered a more detailed criticism of the segment on 93X, saying the Ball family didn’t need to be on TV and called the segment embarrassing. He went on to say it could have been seen as being funny backstage, but kids make up the audience and the Balls’ outlandish antics on the mic were uncalled for, and they were probably told not to act how they did.
Axel added that he grew up in wrestling and Lonzo might be a star in his own right, but the rest of the family (LaMelo and LaVar) went off on their own and hyped themselves, and he said he was disgusted by the whole thing.
NXT
Johnny Gargano will be making his return to NXT soon, which will be his first appearance since being attacked by Tommaso Ciampa at NXT Takeover.

Gargano’s segment was part of last Friday’s TV tapings at Full Sail University, and he debuted a new theme song during his appearance. The song features a new mix and lyrics, which are likely performed by singer Hope Vista, who noted on social media a few weeks ago she was recording a song for Gargano. The segment should air on this week’s show or next week on July 5th.
