Young Bucks Reflect on 2016
The Young Bucks have wrapped up their year in pro wrestling after one final match at Friday’s PWG show, and took to Twitter this weekend to comment on their hectic, incredibly successful 2016. Love them or hate them, Nick and Matt Jackson have been two of the hardest working individuals in all of wrestling, and given their insane travel schedule may be one of the busiest duos in the industry’s history.
The Bucks will close out the year as the current reigning IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions, PWG Tag Team Champions, and the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions. Just to give you an idea of their year, they wrestled at virtually ever major event for all three promotions, including several international co-produced tours, multiple ROH pay-per-view events, and managed to make appearances in the U.S., Canada, Japan, New Zealand and the UK.

2016 was by far the best year we’ve had financially, personally, and professionally. Thanks to everyone who has helped us get to this point!

We just competed in our final match of 2016. This was the craziest, most intense year of our careers. Thank you for following along.

Mickey Gall Continues Undefeated Streak
Mickey Gall, the 170-pound welterweight that bested CM Punk in his UFC debut earlier this year, continued his undefeated streak over rising prospect Sage Northcutt this weekend during a UFC on Fox event in Sacramento, CA. Gall moves to 4-0 overall, and 3-0 in UFC with each of his wins happening this year, and finishing all of his fights via submission by rear-naked choke.
