In Ring Segment: #DIY
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa make a b-line to the crowd to celebrate with the fans. Gargano and Ciampa eventually enter the ring and celebrate a bit more. The crowd showers them with “you deserve it chants”. Before either member of #DIY can speak, Paul Ellering and The Authors of Pain interrupt them. Ellering says they are undefeated and they are the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Ellering adds that #DIY’s celebration is a bit premature. The Revival’s music hits and they walk out on the ramp. Dash and Dawson avoid AoP by walking through the crowd. Dash says they are the rightful number on contenders. Dawson notes that the only reason the AoP advanced in the Dusty Classic is because of them. The AoP walk down the ramp and get in The Revival’s faces. The both members of the AoP push the Revival down to the mat. The Revival hightails it to the other side of the ring to avoid any further aggression from the AoP. Ellering tells#DIY and The Revival that the next chapter has been written and it reads the Authors of Paun will be the next NXT Tag Team champions.
