According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE NXT star Hideo Itami injured his neck at a recent NXT live event, and he could be out of action for several months.
The injury occurred when Itami took a powerslam during a tag team match on October 1st. Itami teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli.
Itami and Kota Ibushi were recently announced as a team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic — which he more than likely won’t be able to participate in now.
