As noted, former WWE star Ryback has launched his own podcast, “Conversation with the Big Guy”, via iTunes. During the debut episode, Ryback had the following to say about the WWE deal he walked away from when he was negotiating re-signing with the company:
“Not about a money issue, just so everybody knows, I walked away from the WWE, the contract offer that I walked away from was a three-year $1.5 million contract,” Ryback said (h/t to F4WOnline.com for the transcription).
Ryback also talked about being lied to numerous times in WWE, and he added he was promised by Vince McMahon that he would be the company’s top heel, as long as he read his promos as scripted and did what Vince told him to do.
The Big Guy also revealed he was originally scheduled to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania 32, with McMahon telling him that he would “squash that little twerp.”
