CHRIS JERICHO BEAT ENZO AMORE (VIA DQ)
Enzo and Cass opened WWE Raw with a promo segment, a lot like last week’s episode, just without Enzo saying he wants to inseminate the women’s roster.
Chris Jericho won the following match via DQ against Enzo, when Cass interfered after Owens held Amore’s leg. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens have brilliant comedic chemistry together, and this feud with Enzo and Cass has ‘it’.

SETH ROLLINS VS FINN BALOR: BATTLE OF THE PROMOS
Rollins and Balor got separate promo segments hyping their impending Summerslam match. Rollins appeared in front of the live crowd, where he informed us all that ‘Finn Balor’ means ‘Demon King’, and that’s a stupid idiot name. Seth said he might as well call himself ‘Rambo Apocalypse’.
Let’s go, Seth ‘Rambo Apocalypse Crossfit Jesus Emo Lord’ Rollins! *clap clap clap clap clap*.
Finn wisely didn’t cut a promo in front of the crowd. Instead he had a fantastic video interview talking about the history of his name and its roots in Irish mythology. This was a very effective tease for his ‘Demon’ character that will presumably come out at Summerslam.
BRAUN STROWMAN BEAT JOR-EL NELSON
Strowman killed another jobber, showing just how fast he can be with a particularly vicious clothesline. He’s being booked like a proper monster and it’s getting over.
DARREN YOUNG BEAT TITUS O’NEIL
Let’s make Darren Young cheat again! Continuing their feud from last week, Titus O’Neil got a taste of his own medicine when Young hooked the tights for the win. Significantly, though, Bob Backlund didn’t see him cheat.
ORTON/LESNAR VIDEO PACKAGE
Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar got a great video package ahead of their Summerslam match charting their parallel careers, stretching all the way back to their OVW debuts at the same time.
NEVILLE & MYSTERY PARTNER BEAT DUDLEY BOYS
Sin Cara was rather disappointingly revealed as Neville’s mystery partner. He even botches me anticipating Cruiserweight Classic call-ups.
They beat the Dudley Boys, but interestingly, after the match, the camera held on Bubba Ray looking annoyed at D-Von a little too long. This could be the subtle foreshadowing of Bubba turning on his brother to become Bully Ray…
SASHA BANKS BEAT DANA BROOKE
Sasha beat Dana Brooke after interference from Charlotte, which means no Brooke at ringside forSummerslam.
LUKE GALLOWS BEAT KOFI KINGSTON
For the first time since their debut, Galanderson finally got to own a segment! They played doctors in a backstage skit talking about what they did to Big E’s Little Es last week – giving him Ringpostitis.
They said the results of Big E’s surgery was nuts. It makes you want to ball your eyes out. And it made Gallows a little bit testy. Gallows got a quick win over Kofi in the following match.
