Mick Foley Talks the Upside to Scripted WWE Promos
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was a recent guest on The Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast, and below is what Foley had to say about today’s more scripted WWE product:
“I think I went 10 years without listening to my wife because I was cutting promos in my head. The downside to today’s more structured WWE environment is that people aren’t thinking for themselves as much. The upside is maybe the guys might listen to their significant others and maybe leave it at work. It’s not a 24/7 thing where you’re escaping into an alternate reality.”
ECW Original to Guest Coach at the WWE PC
According to PWInsider.com, ECW original Stevie Richards is scheduled to work as a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center soon, and could end up being offered a permanent role as a coach.
