In the wake of his former “brother’s” return, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns revisits his tumultuous history with Seth Rollins and gives his candid opinion of The Architect before their title clash at WWE Money in the Bank.
On his match with AJ Styles at WWE Extreme Rules, Roman Reigns says it was phenomenal. He added he has a lot of respect for AJ Styles, and he said the match brought out the best in the both of them. He said anyone in the back watching that match should know that’s what it’s all about.
On whether or not the feud with AJ Styles has changed him, Reigns says people change everyday. He said he had to step up and show people that he’s the guy, it’s a huge responsibility to be the WWE World Champion, and he has to prove that everyday. Reigns added he’s not in WWE to hide or to be in second place, and so he puts the pressure on himself as he has to.
On Seth Rollins returning, Reigns recalls his history with Rollins and losing the WWE World Title to Rollins at WrestleMania. Reigns says he has been sitting on that moment for a year, and they were once brothers. They shared everything and Reigns says Rollins has taken a lot from him, but that has helped him grow and become who he is today.
When asked if he respects Seth Rollins, Reigns says honestly the majority of him wants to puke when he hears Rollins claim he carried the company back when he was Champion. But he does understand what Rollins had to say, and he did accomplish a lot in his long Championship Reign, and he respects that.
