No Way Jose def Murphy. No Way Jose was INSANELY over, everyone loved him.
Tino Sabbatelli def Tucker Knight
Bayley def Alexa Bliss. Bayley got one of the loudest cheers of the night, and Alexa got some as well. Some chants for Bayley such as “Hugplex City” and “We Love Hug Style” were started.
Austin Aries def Mojo Rawley with the Last Chancery. Good comedy match from Mojo’s half. He kept twerking.
American Alpha def The Revival to retain the NXT Tag Team Titles in what was easily the best match of the night. There was a spot where both teams were down on the ground and the crowd erupted into a giant cheer of respect to both teams.
William Regal made a surprise appearance to thank everyone for all the support and helping to make NXT the best promotion on the planet.
Nakamura def Elias Samson. Nakamura got the loudest pop of the night, absolutely deafening. Pretty solid match, much better than the one they had on NXT TV a couple weeks back.
Asuka def Nia Jax by DQ to retain the Women’s Title when Alexa Bliss interfered. Bayley came out to make the save and her and Asuka had a stare down in the ring.
Samoa Joe def Finn Balor to retain the NXT Title. The chants were really 50/50 for this, and it seemed like Balor could have picked up the win, but Joe hit him with the muscle buster for the win. Post match had them starring each other down and shaking hands, only to have Joe attack Balor. Balor fought him off, hit the Coup De Grace, and sent the crowd home happy.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
