In response to the UK Sun article posted earlier today rumoring a Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor boxing match, UFC President Dana White issued the following comment to the LA Times:
“Completely fiction, this is like bottom-feeder stuff. McGregor-Mayweather? No. It’d be very hard to pull off. I’ve heard Floyd is on a worldwide vacation on Mayweather Air spending millions in every country he visits.”
On the possibility of McGregor being able to book himself in a fight outside of WWE:
“Never. We’re his promoter. We’d have to make the fight.”
