We previously reported there was speculation about former NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks being injured, but it has been disputed.
One of the spots in question that led to concern about Banks was during her match against now new NXT Women’s Champion Bayley, who defeated her at the WWE NXT Takeover special. Bayley set up and executed a reverse hurricanrana from the top rope that appeared to come across well on live television, but replays showed Banks may have landed on her head.

Banks finished the match, in addition to competing the next night in a three Diva, triple threat Diva tag team elimination match at Summerslam. As noted, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported Banks was a little sore after the bout, she is not suffering from any injuries. Even though reports say Banks is not injured, she may have been given time to rest; she was seen on Smackdown this week, but did not wrestle on RAW or Smackdown.
