WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins kicks off the show wearing his new “NEVER SHUTS UP” shirt that makes fun of John Cena’s “10 YEARS STRONG” shirt. Seth starts comparing himself to Babe Ruth if he had hit 1000 more home runs than he did and being better than Michael Jordan even if he had won 20 NBA Championships. He then talks down all of his possible contenders and recent wins, especially how he “shattered John Cena’s nose into a million pieces” as he so eloquently put it. Seth speaks some truth when he says that everyone in this arena and watching at home that one day we will all tell our grandchildren that we saw Seth Rollins in his prime. Seth dares John Cena to show up on RAW and answer his challenge for SummerSlam in a Title for Title Main Event instead of ‘being a coward’ and making Daniel Bryan answer for him.
Neville interrupts Seth, saying that it takes a superhero to shut him up. Neville points out several holes in Seth’s story, but Rollins could not care less. Neville calls out Cesaro by mentioning Seth going “on and on and on…” like Cesaro has recently been doing to Rollins. Cesaro is suddenly attacked by Kevin Owens from behind and tossed into the steel steps. The distraction proved to be enough for Seth to blindside Neville as well and Powerbomb him in the turnbuckle before getting in his face and talking trash. This sets up and rather obvious but very exciting Tag Team Main Event for tonight which will probably be Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro & Neville.
Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper is advertised for later tonight along with Charlotte vs. Naomi being next!
