The Promo Heard ‘Round Chicago

As noted, CM Punk and Hulk Hogan have been engaged in somewhat of a social media war, with CM Punk actually calling Hogan a “piece of garbage” for comments Hogan made about The Tampa Bay Lightning defeating The Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Below is the initial Hulk Hogan promo which ignited the entire situation between him and Punk:

Just my two cents but it seems like Hogan was being tongue-in-cheek about the whole thing and cut a “wrestling promo” on Punk, but then Punk took it to an entirely new level with his comments, which seemed more personal than “playful.”

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
