Former WWE, WCW, TNA & ECW Superstar Kid Kash recently took some time to participate in an exclusive interview with PWMania.com. Kash reveals the main reason why he is retiring from professional wrestling, talks about the current state of wrestling, Vince McMahon and more. Here are some highlights from the interview.
On his retirement:
“I just feel it’s that time. Wrestling has changed way too much for my personal interests over the last 5 or 6 years. With the lack of other successful companies other than WWE, indie promoters and indie wrestlers make it hard to make a living because the promoters have become too cheap and the younger wrestlers work for way too cheap.”
On the current state of wrestling:
“I think it’s gone absolutely downhill in the last 5 or 6 years dramatically. Due to crowd attendance and the way some companies treat their talent as far as compensation goes.”
On Vince McMahon:
“He was always nice to me and he gave me a contract and a good push. But I really didn’t have that much dealings with him. It was more with talent relations than with him.”
Kash also speaks on winning the Cruiserweight Championship in WWE, CM Punk, the most satisfying moment of his career, whats next for him and more. You can read the interview in its entirety at this link.
